I once heard …
I once heard someone state that the Wii is the only next generation console and that the other two are just upgraded last generation consoles. The Wii being the only thing that seems well “new”

I kinda agree with such a statement … depends on the day but I do love the innovation … actual innovation not just dropping a supercharger on the unit lol.

dude… seriously …
dude… seriously the wii is not a bad console. Most of the games are very innovative and fun. I mean come on, if your gonna slam something do it to the ps3.
One it costs to much
Two almost all the games are also for Xbox
Three its pretty much a PS2 with a blueray player.
Not trying to start a fight but it just my opinion

As a gamer, I don’t …
As a gamer, I don’t care about profit. I care about GAMES! And other than a few bright lights of quality (Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Zelda), the Wii is being raped by the 360 and PS3, both of which has a large collection of high quality games.

tl;dr version: Wii fails.

nah, gamers would easily buy a wii and play it and stuff…there are a few good games but for the most part…you’re right. it’s all about toddlers, and fatass families (wii fit). but hey, by targeting that audience, the wii has sold more consoles than the xbox 360 or ps3 without changing the system at all or lowering the prices like the ps3 and 360 had to…so in a way Nintendo is being very smart business-wise, but they me and other gamers the off.

the only thing …
the only thing innovative about the wii is the target audience. for the most part, nintendo screwed over their loyal fans for little kids and familes. its not a bad console, but i don’t think any seasoned, experienced gamer would be caught dead with a wii.
