Nintendo E3 06 Fan Reactions 4 – Mario Galaxy Revealed! |
At E3 2006, the Nintendo World store in NYC hosted a live satilite feed of the Nintendo Media Briefing, which included the first publicly shown game footage of the Nintendo wii console.
In Part 4, fans cheer as the first footage of Super Mario Galaxy is revealed.

Tracking fingers with the Wii Remote |
Using an IR led array and some reflective tape, you can track fingers in thin air using the Wii Remote by Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. The grid software is a custom program written using a C# wiimote library and DirectX. More information about the grid software can be found at http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/projects/wii/

How to Connect your Nintendo Wii to your Mac or PC via USB |
Connect your Wii to your mac or PC by following the instructions.
Connect up your wii and all its peripherals as you would if it were a TV
Connect the Display and Audio Cables to the EyeTv device through the composite connector
Connect the EyeTv device via the USB
Launch EyeTv 3 and click video then composite
Then your done.

UofT Research Project – The home-made Wii controller |
For a research project in the Department of Computer Science at UofT I had to take a game of choice and find a cooler way of interacting with it. I chose Battlefield2 and the nintendo wii. This is my final video submission. Playing BF2 wii style is much more fun, and certainly was more enjoyable then writing a history paper..
