Blast zombies and the undead with your Wii controller tucked into plastic firearms and send them flying through the air in pieces. Awesome voice acting, campy writing and fantastic on-rails shooting action make this game a must play for the Nintendo Wii. Play with one or two guns (or just use the Wii controller, you don’t need a “gun” accessory). CGR is playing with the Komodo Buckshot Lock and Load shotgun for Wii, player 2 is using the wii Zapper. Zombies are blown into red and green chunks and scores are earned, arcade action at its finest! Pick this game up for a very affordable price and enjoy nearly unlimited replay value, arcade modes, original modes and boss modes. This CGR review of House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Wii has gameplay from House of the Dead by Sega showing this shooting gun game on the Wii in action. Does not use light guns, but instead uses the Wii sensor bar to work like a light gun. Dope!

Classic Game Room HD reviews CABELA’S MONSTER BUCK HUNTER for Nintendo Wii from Activision. Deer hunting on your nintendo wii with x-ray vision and multiple weapons and hunting accessories optimized for arcade style shooting, that’s Cabela’s Monster Deer Hunter. Hunt monster deer (mutated I assume) and save the earth from colonization. Monster deer are not to be trifled with, which is why you shoot them. With the help of your Cyclops-vision you can spot them behind trees and waste them in a hail of gunfire. Shoot down birds and ducks with a shotgun to rack up points as well. This CGR review of Cabela’s Monster Buck Hunter shows gameplay of deerhunting video game action on the wii. Game Play in Cabela’s Monster Buck Hunter is traditional arcade style light gun shooting mixed with an odd career mode. 24 environments and 30 animals to shoot make this a fun party game or a serious hunting game depending on what kind of person you are. The controls are a bit odd for the career mode, but the competition mode is a blast with deer and birds raining from the sky begging to be blasted. Vension anyone?

Classic Game Room HD reviews RED STEEL 2 for Nintendo Wii published by Ubisoft. This first person shooter / sword fighting video game has players mauling waves of future bad-guys with a variety of tactics. Shoot them in the head or cut them into chunks with your katana, the choices are endless! Red Steel 2 for wii works with the WiiMotion Plus Wii Motion Plus accessory for the nintendo wiimote. The swordplay responses are excellent as is the seamless transition into a shooter. Hack away with precision and pull off special moves and comboes. Red Steel 2 is the best sword fighting samurai ninja style game that I’ve seen on the Wii with a cool visual style and excellent action and weapon modifications. Classic Game Room HD reviews NERF N-STRIKE ELITE for Nintendo wii, a shooter on rails arcade style game played with a Nerf-gun packing group of teenagers. That’s Nerf-tastic! Game comes packed with a Nerf blaster where the Nerf firing mechanism can be replaced by the Wii controller. Blaster has a flip-up piece of transparent red plastic that acts as the “Red Reveal” tech thing and highlights special areas on the screen to shoot.
