Classic Game Room HD – MONSTERS VS. ALIENS for Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews MONSTERS VS ALIENS on nintendo wii! This Monsters vs. Aliens review on Wii has gameplay footage of the video game Monsters Vs. Aliens being played on Nintendo Wii. Monsters vs. Aliens from Activision is a video game based on the Dreamworks animated film. How does this version of the game compare when you look at wii vs. Xbox 360? Watch the review and see! Controls are excellent, graphics and technical quality are sound and this version of Monsters vs. Aliens plays like it was made for the Wii and not to be multi-platform. This is an excellent example of a Wii game that is not “shoveled” over to the console as shovelware, it may not have the sharpness or color saturation but Monsters vs. Aliens for Wii plays well and is the identical version of the game that we played on the 360 except tailored for the Wii. Classic Game Room HD is a Nintendo Wii reviewer reviewing Wii games like Monsters vs. Aliens!

Classic Game Room HD – ONECHANBARA BIKINI ZOMBIE SLAYERS pt1

Part 1 of 2: Classic Game Room HD reviews ONECHAMBARA ZOMBIE BIKINI SLAYERS for the Nintendo wii video game console. Slaying zombie in bikinis has never looked so good (actually it looks like a 2000 Sega Dreamcast game called Sword of the Berserk: Gut’s Rage). Splatter the screen and your enemies with blood as you hack and slash your way through waves of zombies and mutated bird zombie monsters and all kinds of other mayhem. This CGRHD review of Onechanbara Bikini Zombie Slayers has gameplay footage from the video game being played with bikini clad girls wielding katana swords splattering zombies with might. Bikini Zombie Slayers uses the Wii controllers to play the game, you hack ‘n slash with the Wiimote and it works rather well. Hack up, thrust, slash and pull of special moves and combos. The game may not be the best looking game out but the controls and gameplay are solid, you can unlock new outfits for the girls and as the packaging says “Hotties against Zombies!”. It also says “Bombes Sexy contre Zombies!” and “Tias Buenas contra Zombies!”. Wow, even other languages appreciate half naked young ladies in bikinis slaughtering wave after wave of zombies! Hooray for video games! Published by D3 games and available for nintendo wii, Bikini Zombie Slayers is goofy, fun and over the top with violence and gore. It’s a pretty good time with pretty girls that don’t really exist but you probably wish they did, right? Did I mention there is a character in a dirty Japanese schoolgirl costume who hacks and slashes mutated evil zombies too? Classic Game Room reviews all kinds of games with girls in bikinis because we are a bikini girl video game review show reviewing games with girls in bikinis, not a show in bikinis. Slash zombies with swords! Booya!

Classic Game Room HD – PET PALS: ANIMAL DOCTOR Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews PET PALS: ANIMAL DOCTOR for the Nintendo wii! This kids game is made to teach children how to care for pets, but will it allow you to install force fields and missile launchers? No, but this kids video game allows them to play as a veterinarian in a clinic and to use the Wiimote and nunchuk controllers to diagnose pets like cats, dogs, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. Although the game suffers from clumsy controls and sub-par graphics most young children probably won’t care. Pet Pals does not have flamethrowers, shrink rays or plasma autorifles, but it does have bandages, heart rate monitors and medical tools! This rare CGRHD review of Pet Pals for the Wii has gameplay footage from Pet Pals Animal Doctor on Nintendo Wii and features video of the game being played. If caring for pets is your thing, then Pet Pals is the game to look at. If wiping out hordes of zombies with assault rifles is your thing then I’d direct you to House of the Dead instead. Learn to play vet in Pel Pals for the nintendo wii. Watch the review and you can decide if Pet Pals is appropriate for kids of all ages.

Classic Game Room HD – BLOCK PARTY for Nintendo Wii review

http://www.classicgameroom.com/block-party-wii-review.html Classic Game Room’s Derek reviews BLOCK PARTY for nintendo wii. Move over, Chicken Shoot, and make way, Ninjabread Man. Theres a new contender for the title of worst Wii game of all time, and as the Highlander once said, there can be only one.

The challenger is known simply as Block Party. Formed deep within the womb of time, the game was spawned by the development and publishing tandem of Ivolgamus and Activision, the same dream team which gave birth to Monkey Mischief: Party Time, a similarly repugnant slab of immutable wii detritus. For Block Party, however, Ivolgamus and Activision have gone to unprecedented lengths, using the blood of a goblin, seven drops of mucous from the Wind Squid and spoiled milk from the rancid teat of a three-headed demon to create a game so unspeakably unplayable, even the awful Chicken Shoot trembles at its very presence.

Or so Ive read on parchment scrolls dating back millennia. And Internet forums.

In all seriousness, Block Party is bad. Really bad, in fact, and I dont mean that in a Well, I didnt like it, but you might sense. Its inconceivable to me that a person would find anything even remotely worthwhile or entertaining about this game. Block Party is not only offensively substandard; its also technically flawed, a bit frightening and even downright misleading.

If you played Monkey Mischief and maintained enough sanity to tell the tale, you should already know what to expect from Block Party. Not only is it developed by the same studio and released by the same publisher, but its essentially recycled from the same assets and concepts, as well. Like Monkey Mischief, Block Party is a poorly made compilation of poorly made mini-games, and it literally recycles the same content. For example, if you enjoyed rescuing monkeys from the jaws of an alligator in Monkey Mischief, youll love saving your pals from the teeth of the neighborhood dog in Block Party—its the exact same game.

No, I really mean it. Block Party simply replaces monkeys with creepy, poorly designed children while recycling the same assets, and the same applies to its 19 other games.

Being an alternate version of another terrible product would be bad enough, but things somehow get much worse for Block Party, and it starts with the presentation. These could possibly be the ugliest graphics ever to disgrace the Wii, a system which isnt known for visual showpieces to begin with. Its blurry, its blocky and even worse, the design is almost stunningly poor. From the generic, lifeless, LEGO-like children to the bland environments, Block Party looks as though it was designed in two hours by a few art school fail-outs.

At least Monkey Mischiefs monkeys had a little character. Block Partys kids are painfully generic, and even worse, theyre a bit creepy, too. Throughout each mini-game, the children whisper, mumble and murmur in a downright disturbing manner, giggling and groaning in a way that would seem more at home in a Children of the Corn sequel than a Wii game.

And you wont believe this, but it actually gets worse. Perhaps the games biggest offense, Block Party features cover art depicting games like horseshoes, Frisbee and lawn darts, but not a single one is included in the package. Its an obvious ploy to draw clueless Wii owners, and to be blunt, its absolutely shameful. Nintendos console has become a haven for those who the industry has labeled casual gamers, and its a shame to see certain parties take advantage of them, pushing their worst efforts to people who may not know any better.

Dont buy Block Party. Let the game fulfill its fabled destiny of awfulness, instead.

Classic Game Room HD – RACQUET SPORTS for Nintendo Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews RACQUET SPORTS for Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft. Play a variety of racquet related sports on your Wii using the Wii Motion Plus accessory like tennis, ping pong, badminton, beach tennis and squash. This game also works with the usb Eye control for Nintendo Wii. A direct competitor to Nintendo’s own Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, you may find the controls more responsive than most tennis style games on the Wii. This CGR review of Racquet Sports on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Racquet Sports showing sporting game play in Racket Sports on wii *spelled wrong. What a racket!! Ubisoft’s Racquet Sports is a well made collection of five games all based on the one simple concept of having smooth motion controls on nintendo wii without many additional frills.

Classic Game Room HD – NASCAR KART RACING for Wii review pt1

Part 1 of 2: Watch in HD. Classic Game Room reviews NASCAR KART RACING from EA Sports for the nintendo wii video game console. This cart driving game is ultra-fast and ultra-smooth and ultra-fun for fans of the cartoony, anything goes smash your enemies with dynamite sticks racing genre. Are you bored of all the existing MarioKart Wii racing courses and want to try something new? Whether you’re a Nascar stock car fan or not this game should appeal to you if you’re in the mood for a family friendly outing of competitive Kart racing. It works with the Wii Wheel and instead of magic mushrooms and Mario characters the game is filled with cartoon likenesses of Nascar drivers like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson Cark Edwards and Matt Kenseth. Drive the DuPont car, Lowe’s race car or (my favorite) the M&M race car! There are also a number of unlockable fictional characters (that players unlock) who would easily win any Wii wet T-Shirt contest. Now… that’s a game idea…. Race on Nascar inspired tracks like Daytona and Talladega. Classic Game Room HD brings you the best in new school and old school retro video game reviews. We are a wii reviewer reviewing new Wii games from 2009 as well as PS3, Xbox 360 and Atari 2600. Nascar Kart Racing is published by Electronic Arts, Inc. and developed by EA North Carolina.

Classic Game Room HD – GOLD’S GYM CARDIO WORKOUT for Wii

Classic Game Room HD reviews GOLD’S GYM CARDIO WORKOUT for nintendo wii, a fitness video game for the Wii. This review features gameplay footage from Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout on Wii published by Ubisoft. Boxing exercise is nothing new, but now you can have your own, personal trainer on the Nintendo Wii with this creative and catchy video game mixing a cardio workout with Guiter Hero style timing. Not a game (or Wii disc) for everyone, but it does what it was intended to do. It keeps exercise fun and gives the player (or kung-fu student) a bit of incentive to keep going every day and the ability to chart their progress. Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout is meant to be played every day or several times a week and has numerous boxing moves and exercise routines. Starting as a beginner you can throw punches, jabs, uppercuts, cross hooks and even dodge punches from an angry robot who is out for your head. Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout is an affordable way to have a peppy trainer every day and can be played by kids and adults alike. It may not have bloodthirsty, violent mayhem like some other popular games on the market, but it may appeal to those looking for something to stay in shape so that you can live longer to slay more zombies in video games as you get older! This exercise strength cardio trainer on Wii is reviewed by Classic Game Room HD, reviewing games you’d never expect the show to review… Dig it! An exercise wii video game review about boxing training calorie burning for losing weight and staying in shape with your Wii. Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout works with the Wii fit board.

Classic Game Room HD – TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 09 Wii review

Part 1 of 2: Classic Game Room HD reviews TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 09 PRO PLAY for the nintendo wii video game console. This EA Tiger Woods 09 review has gameplay and footage from PGA Tour Pro Play 09 showing golfing action from the video game demonstrating why CGRHD likes this game but calls it “unbalanced”. You can play as the ex-Buick spokesperson or any number of other professional golfers in PGA Tour 09. If that bores you then create your own human being or likeness of yourself or Luke Skywalker to dominate the golfing rink. Round after round you drive balls with force into holes (heh heh…), use irons and pitching wedges and putters and crush the opposition without mercy. 18 holes of Ninja Golf? Not this time buddy, this time is 18 holes of EA Sports golfing action gameplay requiring the gamer to master numerous gold courses and winning strategies. Classic Game Room may usually review games with laser beams, space ships and ninja assassins. Today we review GORF… GOLF! CGR already reviewed Gorf and that’s a good game. Even better than this one actually. Classic Game Room is the ultimate retro and new school reviewer reviewing modern and classic video games for new gamers and retro gaming aficionados today. For PGA Tour 2010 we request ninjas, laser beams and space ships. It’s a hole in one of footage! This review of PGA Tour 09 is for the wii but this game is also available for Xbox 360.

Classic Game Room HD reviews RED STEEL 2 for Nintendo Wii published by Ubisoft. This first person shooter / sword fighting video game has players mauling waves of future bad-guys with a variety of tactics. Shoot them in the head or cut them into chunks with your katana, the choices are endless! Red Steel 2 for wii works with the WiiMotion Plus Wii Motion Plus accessory for the nintendo wiimote. Red Steel 2 is the best sword fighting samurai ninja style game that I’ve seen on the Wii with a cool visual style and excellent action and weapon modifications.
