Classic Game Room HD reviews THUNDER FORCE AC for Sega Saturn video game console! This arcade version of Thunder Force III has some new content, some borrowed content and an all-new awesome presentation on the Sega Saturn in 1996 (the arcade version was from 1990). Fantastic sound, music and visuals separate the Thunder Force series from other SHMUP style space ship shooters, and this Japanese Sega Saturn shmup shows that to be true. As SHMUPS go this Japanese Saturn shooter is awesome and packs rock solid gameplay with a challenging difficulty level. From the Thunder Force Gold Pack 2, this review shows Thunder Force AC gameplay footage and demonstrates what makes Thunder Force AC so much fun. The Thunder Force Gold Pack 2 is a collection of 2 Thunder Force games, TF AC and Thunder Force 4 (aka Lightening Force for the Genesis, or Thunder Force IV on the Megadrive). TF AC is a side scrolling shoot ‘em up horizontal shooter where you fight an enormous array of enemies and difficult end bosses. This version has excellent music that comes through the Saturn crisp and clear and is highly recommended for fans of the Thunder Force series from Technosoft (Tecno Soft), makers of the Thunderforce games! Classic Game Room HD reviews the nintendo wii CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO video game controller accessory. The Nintendo wii Classic Controller Pro is a reworking of the original Wii Classic Controller with more of a PS2 controller feel. In fact, held up to a standard Playstation 2 controller you’ll see that they look remarkably similar. Both have hand grippy things, dual analog sticks and four buttons that are easily pressable on the front of the controller. The older Classic Controller has more of an SNES gamepad feel while the new one is slightly larger (because of the handles) and more comfortable in CGR’s opinion. This controller is perfect for games like Capcom’s Monster Hunter Tri and old school arcade shooters like Dead Moon and Biohazard Battle. This hardware review of the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro reviews the Classic Controller Pro with HD video showing the piano gloss finish (which fingerprints easily) and details on the Wii accessory.

Nintendo will be teaming up with the remains of Tecmo’s Team Ninja to bring us an all-new Metroid title: Metroid Other M.

Due at a later time (in 2010 unfortunately), the game looks a blend of first and third-person gameplay (looks more like third person than first in this upcoming Metroid), with shooting sequences mixed with old-fashioned Metroid platforming.

The game also features some shiny anime cutscenes, giving the series a somewhat fresher, newer look.
