Classic Game Room HD — SUPER NINTENDO console review |
Classic Game Room HD reviews the SUPER NINTENDO video game console which was released in the U.S. in 1991. A fan favorite and many viewers’ first game system, the Super Nintendo delivered awesome video games with a 16 bit style that differed from its main rival, the Sega Genesis. Smoother visuals and that Nintendo flair for lengthy games packed with months of gameplay made the SNES game console the system to own for fans of Mario games and Zelda. Could you find Super Metroid on the Genesis, Sega CD or 32S? No! (but could you find Cosmic Carnage on the SNES… No!) This Super Nintendo video game console review shows games and the game system up close. Relive the days when competing video game consoles were actually different and played different games. Reminisce about different sound effects, music design and graphics that separated rival Nintendo from Sega. The American Super Nintendo may be built to last and works like a champ but suffers from a case of the uglies. These days many of the best Super Nintendo games can be found on the Nintendo wii Virtual Console and downloaded for a few bucks. Games like Super Mario Kart on SNES and Super Mario World still hold their value and bring back years of memories for collectors.

Wii Sports: Bowling Power Throws Perfect 890 |
Because so many people thought my 890 was fraudulent and claimed it wasn’t “truly perfect” because of the bumper rail trick, I video’ed a “truly perfect” rendition.
The camera battery died on the last frame before the final score came up, but you see all the pins fall down and it does show that “91 pins” fell down.
And fantastically enough, youtube’s transcoding unsync’ed the audio, and clipped off a second or so from the end, so the already-short run just got shorter.

Classic Game Room HD – Wii SPORTS RESORT review Pt 2 |
Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room HD reviews wii SPORTS RESORT for nintendo wii. Bowling, golfing, sword fighting, archery, wakebording, air sports, basketball, frisbee and canoeing, it’s all here with Wii Sports Resort for Nintendo Wii for use with the Wii Motion Plus attached to your Wii controller. The WiiMotion Plus is supposed to give better response and movement to games like table tennis and golf, and maybe it does. Regardless, this feels like more of the same from Nintendo who has not been able to out do their best two games, Bowling and Golf! You get more bowling and golf with Wii Sports Resort, set in a resort location where you can bike around the beautiful island that reminds me of another game…. (Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 anyone??) Wii Sports Resort is a great game from 2 player action with many of the sports best played against a friend. If you’re looking for well-made family video gaming that will keep your kids occupied for days this is a nice game to look at. Normally high Nintendo production value and excellent use of the Wii controls make it a playable game to get off the couch and enjoy. This CGR review of Wii Sports Resort has gameplay from Wii Sports Resort on Nintendo Wii showing game play in action with the Wii Motion Plus. Required WiiMotion Plus to play.
