PlayStation Move or Nintendo Wii?

nintendo wiiPlayStation Move or Nintendo wii? Comparison.
As you may of heard, the PlayStation Move has come out.
It will use advanced motion sensors and the PlayStation®Eye Camera.
Sony announced that PlayStation Move will support 3D.
The PlayStation Move will be just like the Nintendo Wii;
The only difference is that the PlayStation Move will have a PlayStation®Eye Camera instead of a Sensor Bar.
We don’t know many games that are going to support the PlayStation Move, but these are the games we do know at the moment… Sports Champion, The Shoot, Slider, TV Superstars, Move Party, Motion Fighter, The Fight.
The PlayStation Move is a remote-like motion-sensitive controller with a sphere at the end. The sub-controller is an off-hand controller being offered for some Move games. The Move controller connects to the PS3 with the help of a PlayStation Eye camera, which detects the Move’s colored sphere, while tilt sensors in the move transmit their position data to the PS3.
The differences between the nintendo wii and the PlayStation move are:
1. Playstation Move has fewer buttons.
2. Playstation Move has a smarter controller.
3. PlayStation move has no wires between the two controllers.
4. PlayStation Move has no off-hand gyro.
Prices July 2010:
Nintendo Wii Console Price: £149.99
Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Console with PlayStation Move Controller, PlayStation Eye Camera and Demo Disk. Price: £298.99

Taking a Look at the Nintendo Classic Controller Pro

The newly released Classic Controller Pro from Nintendo improves upon the original in almost every way possible. Sporting comfortable handles, a textured back and redesigned shoulder buttons, the Pro is both comfortable and functional.

Personally, I don’t care much for the side-by-side analog stick placement akin to Sony’s Dual Shock, but here on the Classic Controllers, the idea at least makes sense to keep the focus on the d-pad for the Wii’s Virtual Console games. Also in relation to the Dual Shock, I find the Pro to be more comfortable, though your mileage may vary.

The Classic Controller Pro retails alone for $20 USD, the same price as the previous model. It’s definitely worth picking one of these up if you don’t already own a Classic Controller, and if you do, I think it’s still worth the upgrade if you have the spare cash. I would recommend purchasing the Monster Hunter Tri bundle, which saves you $10 over if you purchased the game and the controller separately (US only), and also nets you a fantastic wii game.

Classic Game Room HD – TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS for Nintendo Wii review | nintendo wii tournament of legends

nintendo wii tournament of legendsClassic Game Room HD reviews TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS for Nintendo Wii from High Voltage and Sega. This unique fighting game from High Voltage is published by Sega for nintendo wii. It can be played with the classic controller (Classic Controller Pro used for this review) or the standard wiimote and nunchuk for motion controls. Numerous fighters await you in a different style of fighting game that stands out from the standard fare. Tournament of Legends is not dependant on special moves and button combos, rather it relies on tactical positioning and unleashing huge magic spells after landing hits on your enemy. A fun game that is a shock to the system because of its uniqueness, give it more than a few minutes when you play it. The control scheme is different and requires some practice, but once mastered you’ll probably enjoy your Tournement of Legends! This CGR review of Tournament of Legends has gameplay from Tournament of Legends on Nintendo Wii showing Tournament of Legends game play in HD.

Wii Party | OFFICIAL E3 trailer Nintendo Wii

wii partyNintendo just completed its press conference at the E3, here are the first trailers!

SYNOPSIS (provided by Nintendo)
The Whole Family Stars
in its Own Electronic Board Game
Most video games require players to focus their attention on a screen. Now
Nintendo brings the action into the living room with Wii Party, a game that
changes the way people interact with other players. Featuring 13 different
party game modes and 70+ minigames, Wii Party can be enjoyed by
everyone in the family, regardless of age.

FEATURES:
• Some of the 13 different party game modes take the fun out of the TV and into the
living room. Players have to interact with one another in the real world to get the
results they want in the game. Some House Party games include:
▪ Players place four Wii Remote™ controllers on a table. Each one emits a
different animal noise. Players win the round by being the first to grab the
controller that is making the sound of the animal shown on the TV.
▪ Players use Wii Remote controllers to play hide and go seek. One player
asks the other players to leave the room and then hides all of the controllers
around the living room. When the other players return, they have to find them.
wii Party features Mii™ characters in minigames in which up to four people can play
together. Each player uses only the Wii Remote controller. Some of the party game
modes are cooperative, such as “Balance Boat.” Others are competitive, such as
“Board Game Island.”
• In Board Game Island mode, players help their Mii characters compete in more than
70 different minigames:
▪ Mii characters ride a rollercoaster while players try to shoot down floating
balloons containing gifts.
▪ Players use their Wii Remote controllers to help Mii characters navigate a
virtual game of tag.
