PlayStation Move or Nintendo wii? Comparison.
As you may of heard, the PlayStation Move has come out.
It will use advanced motion sensors and the PlayStation®Eye Camera.
Sony announced that PlayStation Move will support 3D.
The PlayStation Move will be just like the Nintendo Wii;
The only difference is that the PlayStation Move will have a PlayStation®Eye Camera instead of a Sensor Bar.
We don’t know many games that are going to support the PlayStation Move, but these are the games we do know at the moment… Sports Champion, The Shoot, Slider, TV Superstars, Move Party, Motion Fighter, The Fight.
The PlayStation Move is a remote-like motion-sensitive controller with a sphere at the end. The sub-controller is an off-hand controller being offered for some Move games. The Move controller connects to the PS3 with the help of a PlayStation Eye camera, which detects the Move’s colored sphere, while tilt sensors in the move transmit their position data to the PS3.
The differences between the Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation move are:
1. Playstation Move has fewer buttons.
2. Playstation Move has a smarter controller.
3. PlayStation move has no wires between the two controllers.
4. PlayStation Move has no off-hand gyro.

Taking a Look at the Nintendo Classic Controller Pro

The newly released Classic Controller Pro from Nintendo improves upon the original in almost every way possible. Sporting comfortable handles, a textured back and redesigned shoulder buttons, the Pro is both comfortable and functional.

Personally, I don’t care much for the side-by-side analog stick placement akin to Sony’s Dual Shock, but here on the Classic Controllers, the idea at least makes sense to keep the focus on the d-pad for the Wii’s Virtual Console games. Also in relation to the Dual Shock, I find the Pro to be more comfortable, though your mileage may vary.

The Classic Controller Pro retails alone for $20 USD, the same price as the previous model. It’s definitely worth picking one of these up if you don’t already own a Classic Controller, and if you do, I think it’s still worth the upgrade if you have the spare cash. I would recommend purchasing the Monster Hunter Tri bundle, which saves you $10 over if you purchased the game and the controller separately (US only), and also nets you a fantastic wii game.

ASRock AIWI turns your iPhone into motion controller

http://www.tweaktown.com In our first batch of pre-Computex Taipei 2010 coverage this week, we visited ASRock who had some pretty cool new stuff on display that it will show at the big Asian IT show next week. The second thing we were shown was ASRock AIWI that was only just officially launched by ASRock a little while ago.

AIWI is an Apple app for devices with a motion sensor such as the iPhone that gives your ASRock powered system the ability to play games through your iPhone or iPod touch over wireless or Bluetooth. After youve installed the app on your phone and the ASRock software on your system (and it has detected which games you have that are supported not all games are supported but there is a pretty good list so far), you simply connect your phone to your PC and then you are in business.

Not only can you play games using your phone as the controller with motion control like a Nintendo wii controller, but you can also use it to control your system as it has mouse and keyboard functions too. Distributed by Tubemogul.

GDC 2010 – PlayStation Move hands-on and Nintendo’s response

Classic Game Room HD – Wii CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO review

Classic Game Room HD reviews the nintendo wii CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO video game controller accessory. The Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro is a reworking of the original wii Classic Controller with more of a PS2 controller feel. In fact, held up to a standard Playstation 2 controller you’ll see that they look remarkably similar. Both have hand grippy things, dual analog sticks and four buttons that are easily pressable on the front of the controller. The older Classic Controller has more of an SNES gamepad feel while the new one is slightly larger (because of the handles) and more comfortable in CGR’s opinion. This controller is perfect for games like Capcom’s Monster Hunter Tri and old school arcade shooters like Dead Moon and Biohazard Battle. This hardware review of the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro reviews the Classic Controller Pro with HD video showing the piano gloss finish (which fingerprints easily) and details on the Wii accessory.
