When there are just so many different gaming consoles to choose from, why is the Nintendo Wii considered to be in a league all on its own? Well there are many reasons which include the cool wireless controllers or the fact that you can actually download games to play on the device. Why go to an electronics store and pay highly outlandish prices for some games on other consoles, when you can directly download the games for your nintendo wii with ease.

You can download Wii games from a variety of sources including the Nintendo Virtual Console on Online wii Shop Channel; which is the official download location, to many other spots such as peer to peer programs and the like. After all, who wants to deal with disks that are easily scratched and just plainly take up too much space when you can download your favorite game and save it right in the console’s memory.

When you choose to download from Wii Shop Channel, you only pay a single subscription fee which grants you access to their entire library of games which you can download at your pleasure. Of course if that is not enough, why not also throw in a 24 hour a day 7 day a week capability of downloading games too. Haven’t you ever had the problem of wanting to play a new game only to find driving to the store a hassle; especially when it is closed?

One of the biggest benefits associated with choosing the Nintendo Wii over any other home gaming console is for the simple fact that you can download all of the games you could ever want to play; without ever leaving the home or continuing to pay high rates for the games on disks. It just makes better sense and that is one of the greatest reasons so many are choosing Wii over any other gaming console.

Classic Game Room HD reviews TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN for Nintendo Wii. It’s like the Bumblebee of Transformers video games. It should just transform into a car and drive itself off a cliff. Less than meets the eye kids, less than meets the eye. Buy or rent the AWESOME Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Xbox 360 or PS3 and avoid this one. In an odd twist of fate (even odder than robots adopting the form of cars and school busses) the Transformers 2 video game has numerous versions… the Xbox 360 and PS3 version, two Nintendo DS versions and this mess on the nintendo wii. Sloppy controls, poor graphics and lackluster gameplay make this Transformers game the one to miss. This CGRHD review of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen for wii has gameplay footage from Transformers 2 on Wii showing the video game being played. Play Autobot and Decepticon, both (you can’t choose like you can in the 360 version) and play through a variety of mission types where the camera angles add confusion to what could have otherwise been a straight forward punch and shoot brawler.

This EA Tiger Woods 09 review has gameplay and footage from PGA Tour Pro Play 09 showing golfing action from the video game demonstrating why CGRHD likes this game but calls it “unbalanced”. You can play as the ex-Buick spokesperson or any number of other professional golfers in PGA Tour 09. If that bores you then create your own human being or likeness of yourself or Luke Skywalker to dominate the golfing rink. Not this time buddy, this time is 18 holes of EA Sports golfing action gameplay requiring the gamer to master numerous gold courses and winning strategies. Classic Game Room may usually review games with laser beams, space ships and ninja assassins. Today we review GORF… GOLF! CGR already reviewed Gorf and that’s a good game.
