Classic Game Room HD reviews BITTOS for nintendo wii, a downloadable game from WiiWare (technically called Bittos+ ). This is a catchy puzzle game which requires some getting used to but packs some unique challenge that separates it from other puzzle games like Tetris and Columns. Make bittos (or bits) blocks of more than 4 square things to score points and keep a multiplier going full speed ahead. The wii games always have less game modes and options than other gaming consoles. It seems like the new games are the same as last years game for xbox and ps3. Why are wii games such poor quality?

For two reasons.

One is that the Wii is extremely weak compared to its competitors. The processing power cannot handle the sheer scope and quality that games on other systems produce. Advanced AI, bigger game worlds, better physics, are all available on other systems because those systems can actually handle them. The Wii can’t.

And two..because SO…MANY…PEOPLE who buy the Wii are pre-pubescent girls, soccer moms and grandparents, game publishers don’t even attempt to make a quality game, because these people don’t know what a quality game IS. They figure "OMG Get as many games onto the market as possible somebody will buy them…and add waggle controls in there somehow, I don’t care how just do it! Screw quality, just get it out there!"

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don’t all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can’t help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It’s a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the nintendo wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a Nintendo Wii 2 with a new Metroid Prime in HD? Maybe, or maybe you just found this by searching for it because you dreamed it. There should be. Dig Dug should also make a guest appearance.

Classic Game Room HD reviews BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE for nintendo wii video game console. Based on the popular Cartoon Network TV show, Ben 10 is a side scrolling beat ‘em up video game with a 3D style and multiple character changing gameplay elements. This CGRHD review of Ben 10 Alien Force has gameplay footage from Ben 10 Alien Force on wii (also available on Nintendo DS), showing Spidermonkey at the Waterfall, how to use Big Chill and Jet Ray and Kevin and more. How does Ben 10 Alien Force compare to other side scroller beat em ups like Streets of Rage? Your character has an Omnitirix to change into monster or alien forms (whatever they are, I don’t watch the show). This is a fun game and sells at a value price, it may not be the best video game ever made but it keeps to a relatively faithful 2D side scrolling beatem up style while adding some new elements. Plays acceptably with the Wii controller and nunchuck. You can also disable the motion controls which is what I did. Ben 10 is rated E for everyone and is clearly a kids game, but older games looking for some new games on the Wii can find enjoyment with it as well.
